Description
The Paxton 390-727 Proximity Reader is designed for reliable access control with Switch2 and Net2 systems. Encased in a cast metal housing with a sleek chrome finish. The 390 727 reader is both smart and highly durable, making it ideal for installation in demanding environments. Its metal casing minimises interference when mounted near other metal objects, ensuring consistent performance.
The Paxton 390-727 is IPX7 rated, making it suitable for external use. It comes equipped with security screws and a backplate for easy, secure installation. Thanks to Genuine HID Technology, the reader can also read HID 125kHz Proximity tokens when licensed with an activation card. If required, it can also be configured for Wiegand output via a separate activation card.
Once installed, the reader operates by reading tokens placed nearby. The control unit then checks the user’s access permissions, and access is either granted or denied. A green LED flashes for granted access, while a red LED indicates denial.
Whether for commercial, industrial, or outdoor settings, the Paxton 390-727 Proximity Reader provides a robust, secure, and efficient access control solution.
